Semi-automatic device for hardcover applications such as photobooks, asymmetric bindings and products, packaging, multi-part bindings and products, foam bindings, complex and rigid bindings, etc.
Short time of adjustment. Strong magnetic stops.
Production speed is 100 to 120 pieces per hour!
Kursant – bookbinding machine is intended for printing houses that produce hardcover perform and laminating operations. This machine is designed for production of binding covers of small and medium print runs, as well as laminating works.
Kursant is designed for the production of small and medium editions, allows you to produce the full range of works, as well as works on hardcover.
The Kursant machine has a high degree of automation and ergonomics:
- automatic stops of the liner (binding material)
- automatic cardboard stops (binding cardboard)
- automatic folding unit for binding cover edges
- mechanical bending unit for binding cover edges (relevant in case of carver errors, non-standard orders, small-format products)
- automatic stacking of finished products (no time is spent on storing finished products, the machine operator does not stop working when the finished product is taken from him by another employee for subsequent technological operations)
- adjusting the speed of the glue shafts (usually operators work at high speed, but when producing inserts, especially small-format ones in such products as certificates, diplomas, etc., operators set a low speed for ease of operation and elimination of defects)
- precise positioning illumination (relevant when assembling digital print runs, when the liner is printed on a digital printing press)
- built-in vacuum (no compressor needed, as well as quiet operation of the machine, which allows it to be used in office premises)
- it is equipped initially with both U-turn and pass-through pens (U-turn pens are relevant if you need to receive a liner with glue up, such products as book covers, and pass-through pens are relevant for internal pasting when you need to receive products such as certificates and diplomas with expanded glue down).
Kursant is designed in such a way as to ensure high productivity due to the ergonomics of the process, while the design of the machine is designed in such a way that the operator constantly monitors the quality of the products produced.
The power supply of the machine is 220V single-phase, with consumption in the heating mode up to 2 kW, which allows it to be operated in office premises. When using Brikol glue, produced by Kleizhelatinprom LLC) https://www.kleyjelatin.ru/ , no additional extraction is required, and there is also no unpleasant smell.
At the end of the work shift, cleaning the car takes 1-2 minutes.
All these advantages of Kursant give high productivity, reduce errors and operator fatigue, reduce maintenance time to a minimum (setting up the machine for circulation 1-2 minutes, cleaning the machine 1-2 minutes).
Moreover, due to the fact that printing houses often use low-skilled personnel, the following security systems are implemented in the car::
- the system of protection of adhesive shafts from chipping, in case of ingress of foreign objects.
- system for protecting the necks of glue shafts from bending the necks (relevant when winding the liner on the shaft or foreign objects: keys, bolts, watches, handkerchiefs, etc.).
- calendering shaft surface protection technology.
- automation protection technology against surges in the electrical network.
